DMD Designworks ventures a sleek Avant renovation at University of Texas McCombs School of Business.
At the highly-ranked McCombs School of Business, preparing successful business innovators requires the latest, most adaptable, team-based classroom space. Yet the interior of McCombs’ Millennium Lab fell short and required rethinking.
Designer Pat Delgado of DMD Designworks won the project by recognizing the need to bring unity to the collaborative learning space, which included conference room and group study areas. Delgado recruited Avant’s Glimmer and Strut patterns for the job. “The combination of linear and organic contrast gives the Avant styles a modern, contemporary feel,” said Delgado.
The refreshed space fully supports McCombs’ innovative approach to preparing business leaders. With Avant creating the perfect floorscape, both DMD Designworks and the McCombs School of Business are pleased with the results.
